We'll Help You Renew Yourself with Amazing Touches
Ashiatsu is a massage technique that involves the application of the practitioner’s feet, rather than the hands or arms, to a patient’s body.
During an Ashiatsu massage, therapists use their bare feet to deliver deep compression, long gliding strokes, and/or assisted stretching. Reading that, you might feel apprehensive about receiving an Ashiatsu treatment. You may wonder if having your back walked on will be intense, painful, or even scary. Don’t worry, though! Ashiatsu therapists have full control over how your body is treated, and the massage is tailored to your needs just as a deep tissue or Swedish Massage would be.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
This massage technique uses slower, more forceful strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, to help with muscle damage from injuries. It is applied to both the superficial and deep layers of muscles, fascia and other structures. The sessions are often quite intense as a result of the deliberate, focused work. It is not uncommon for receivers of deep tissue massage to have their pain replaced with a new muscle ache for a day or two.

HOT STONE MASSAGE THERAPY
The stones used for the massage are smooth, water-heated, Basalt stones (or lava rocks). The 120-130 degree stones are used as tools along the clients body, retaining body temperature. The heat deeply penetrates into the muscles, releasing tension. The sedative results leave your body soothed and relaxed.
Reap the Rewards
- Promotes deep muscle and tissue relaxation
- Alleviates stress
- Releases toxins
- Relieves pain
- Improves circulation
- Calms the psyche
Fascia is the soft tissue component of connective tissue that provides support and protection to the human body. Because the fascia system covers all parts of the body, release of fascia restrictions in one area can affect other organs of the body. Alleviating tense, tight fascia tissue relieves pain and tension associated with sports injuries, fibromyalgia, poor posture, and over used muscles.
- Stretching fascia loosens adhesion’s between soft tissue.
- Release of tight fascia tissue improves blood flow and nerve circulation.
- Softening of fascia helps mobilize stiff joints caused by joint dysfunction.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE THERAPY
Women with normal, low-risk pregnancies can benefit greatly from pregnancy massage. Many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, headaches and edema (or swelling) are relieved through pregnancy massage. Stress is reduced on weight-bearing joints. Massage helps to relax nervous tension, which aids in better sleep and can help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes.

Reiki uses a technique commonly called palm or hands on healing. Through the use of this technique, practitioners transfer universal energy (i.e., reiki) in the form of qi (Japanese: ki) through the palms, which they believe allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium.

Sports Massage Therapy
Sports massage is administered on clients either pre or post sporting event to help prevent and treat injuries. The goals of the massage are specified based upon athletic activity and related sports injuries. Pretreatment includes stretching and light kneading techniques of swedish massage to loosen tendons and tissue to prepare body for physical exertion. Post event sports massage targets areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movements. Deep tissue massage, myofascial release and trigger point therapy are used to break up adhesions and scar tissue within soft tissue.
Sports massage increases blood movement through muscles and connective tissue, improving the flexibility and range of motion in the joints which can improve athletic performance. Sports massage can also improve an athletes ability to focus and use of tactical maneuvering skills by relaxing the nervous system.
Physical conditioning, aggressive contact and strenuous activity involved in sporting increases an athletes susceptibility to sustaining injuries. Sports massage assists in the elimination of toxic waste built up from muscle activity (lactic acid) to stimulate healing within the soft tissue of the skeletal muscles.
Incidents involving injury are not limited to athletes. Clients with daily routines of strenuous lifting or repetitive motions in prolonged positions can sustain any of these injuries. Unhealthy habits and degenerative diseases may also initiate injury.

A gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration and tapping to help relax and revitalize the body. It is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the levels of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility, while easing tension.
- Sedative modality relaxes the symptoms of the body
- Ease anxiety symptoms improving sleep cycles
- Reduces joint stiffness in arthritis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
- Relieve pain from headaches and migraines
- Improve circulation of blood and lymphatic system increasing immune system strength
- Lower pain levels in cases of joint injuries, muscle strains and sprains, fibromyalgia
- Release muscle tension in compartment syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
Repetitive movement, prolonged muscle contraction, accident or injury may cause pain that leads to localized muscle cramping. Tight muscle fibers, usually confined to one or two small fibers within the muscle body, often feel like a knot or hard lump inside the tissue. Sensitive to touch, these tight bundles of muscle fiber will cause a centralized pain where located in the muscle, or mediate referred pain and other sensations to another part of the body through the pathway of the nerves. Trigger point massage uses controlled compression, pin and stretching techniques and centripetal friction to manipulate and break down adhesions in muscle fibers.
The more you know
- Active trigger points actively administer localized pain and radiate referred pain
- Latent trigger points are only sensitive to touch, they do not have any moving pain
- Key trigger points refer pain by compressing on nerve pathways
- A collection of too many trigger points is called myofascial pain syndrome
- As tension builds up in muscle, nerve and blood supply diminish resulting in fatigue from lack of nutrient exchange in muscle
